Empowering the Chinese-Canadian Community: A Bilingual Seminar on Wills, Power of Attorney, and Proactive Planning

As the sole lawyer in our local community with native Chinese fluency, I am honoured to present at the Chinese Canadian Association of Kingston & District’s (CCAK) legal seminar series.

What This Seminar Covers

Join me for an informative, bilingual (English & Mandarin) session covering:

  • Wills — why every adult in Ontario needs one, common mistakes, and how to plan thoughtfully for family members both in Canada and abroad;
  • Power of Attorney — the difference between a Power of Attorney for Personal Care and for Property, and why both matter;
  • Proactive Planning — avoiding the most common pitfalls that lead to family disputes, frozen assets, and avoidable court applications later on.

This seminar is designed to empower our Chinese-Canadian community with the knowledge to confidently navigate some of life’s most important legal decisions — ideally long before they become urgent.
