I was grateful to attend the Canadian Immigration Lawyers Association (CILA) Annual Conference 2025 in Toronto, themed “From Policy to Port of Entry: Navigating Canada’s Immigration System.” The conference brought together immigration lawyers, policymakers, and advocates from across Canada for meaningful discussions on the future of immigration and refugee law.
